Mounting Recommendations
Attach using cable ties or nuts and bolts.
Its all set up ready to go with batteries included.
Ideally pick a place on the asset that is not covered by metal that would reduce satellite & cellular signal.
Batteries are easily replaced by unscrewing the back cover on the device.
To Replace the Batteries when they are exhausted its recommended to use 2AA Lithium Batteries.
Tamper Detection
- When installing the device, the magnet can be glued or otherwise attached to the asset.
- The Barra is then installed over the magnet (the magnet fits inside the housing recess).
- If the Barra is removed from the asset – the Barra will immediately detect that the magnet is no longer present and send an alert/notification.
